My first application of Self Tan

I was getting fed up of seeing all these beautiful tanned women; either they were on Youtube, in my favourite More magazine or even walking past me in the street, so I suddenly had a genius idea that I would buy myself a self tanner. I couldn't bare having pure white legs with my favourite summer dress.

However,

I would have to do my research before I chose one and even started to put it on my body, as I wanted to look as natural as possible.

I had a nose around, read a few reviews, visited a few websites until I finally decided that my first

tanner would have to be ST Tropez bronzing mousse.

I did learn a bit from my research in that I would have to buy an application mitt if I wanted a even tan and to moisturise and exfoliate every other day. It seemed a lot of work, but I could NOT bare being a ghost any longer.

St Tropez bronzing mousse is quite an expensive tan, priced at £20.43 for a 120ml bottle. So I decided that I would then go on a hunt for a bargain. Luckily enough after a while of surfing the net I found my bargain on Ebay. I managed to purchase a brand new 120ml bottle for only £9.90. I was so pleased!

It arrived two days later an I couldn't wait so I applied it using a mitt the same day.

I was worried being a first tanner that my tan would come out uneven, too dark or even be patchy if I missed a bit, but it was surprisingly easy to apply all over my body. Although I will admit, I needed a bit of help with my back.

As soon as I had covered my body, I noticed that St Tropez on my skin did not feel sticky at all, as that is one thing I cannot stand my skin and face feeling sticky and caked.

I noticed the biggest change was in my mood when I could see my tan developing already.

My body looked healthier and I felt so good as I noticed my tan developing after a few hours. Any marks on my skin were less visible and my body even looked a little slimmer. I was very happy with my St Tropez self tan and would definitely use it again, maybe the moisturising every day was not something I was used to.

I think that some people suit pale skin if they have a clear, polished look. But a tanned body is what I prefer whether it be from the sun or a bottle, If It makes me feel happier and boosts my self-confidence then I will give anything a try.
